Self Care Kick Off 2020 with Andrea Bogart and Chateau Sonoma
Well, it’s day one of a happy NEW YEAR, how are you guys? I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season. It may have been the first count-down I’ve missed in years as our toddler’s time schedule has been turned upside down since being in Norway. I was in bed watching “Moana” trying desperately to wind her down…. but at the stroke of midnight we opted to jump back up and at least enjoy some fireworks, hugs and cheers with our family and then try for sleep again. I guess I’m still feeling like a new parent at times even though I’m two and a half years in… anyone with me?
I assume many of you can relate to the challenges of time zone changes, travels and trying to roll with your children’s needs through the holidays. It’s worth the effort as there’s nothing better than being with family. We always look forward to our shared time together since we spend majority of the year living far apart from our loved ones.
Needless to say I can’t think of a better time to be having another self care retreat than in the month of January. It’s a time of resolutions, goal-setting, intentions and more and I know for myself, the most clarity comes to me when I’m meditating, practicing yoga, nurturing myself with healthy foods and practicing gratitude. These things help me meet each day with purpose and being more present. These our the very things I look forward to sharing more of this year through my writing, leading yoga and any other outlets that may take shape. If you take a moment to pause and reflect on how you spend your time nurturing yourself, can you feel assured that it serves you well? I’d like to think that answer is YES. I’m not sure any of us have ever said, “dang I shouldn’t have taken that yoga class, or ate that healthy meal or sat quietly with myself and experienced meditating” have we?
In partnership with Chateau Sonoma Self Care we invite you to our second wellness day retreat January 18, 2020 from 11AM-3PM in my hometown of Sonoma, California. As Sarah Anderson and I continue to collaborate on ideas with how to bring more wellness to our community we are especially excited to be curating retreats for 2020 together. This particular retreat will be a mindful gift to your soul at the start of a New Year— A New Decade! How lovely will that feel? So let’s kick off the new year with reflective self care and discover what the year has in store for you… continue reading

Wishing you all a wonderful and happy New Year. Thank you for stopping by and bearing with me during my unintentional hiatus from writing here. It feels so good to be writing even a little bit at a time right now. I appreciate all your support and invite you to share with me what you love, what you hope to hear more about or the types of things you personally enjoy reading from me. This will be a year of revamping and fine tuning this blog and curating it much more specifically. Your input would be incredibly meaningful!
